Finance Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding statutory filings, compliance, and financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns with ROC and other government authorities.
• Stay updated on amendments in Companies Act, Income Tax, TDS, GST, and related regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Assist in income tax return preparation and filing.
• Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and return filings.
• Ensure GST compliance, including filing, reconciliation, and addressing client queries.
• Maintain accurate financial and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve compliance-related matters.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in finance operations.
• Support clients with company incorporation, legal licensing, and post-incorporation compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in finance operations, statutory filings, or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Companies Act, Income Tax, TDS, GST, and financial reporting standards.
• Familiarity with accounting tools (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and commitment to client service.
