Job Description

An automotive account head, or Key Account Manager (KAM), is responsible for managing and nurturing key client relationships, developing strategies to achieve sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction within a specific territory or market. Their duties include building strong relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders, promoting products or solutions, identifying business opportunities, reporting on progress, and collaborating with internal teams to align with the company's overall strategy. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and develop strong, long-term relationships with key automotive clients and stakeholders.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement account strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
  • Market & Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the automotive market, customer needs, and company products/solutions to effectively position them.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor business development progress, report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and forecast revenue for their assigned accounts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, such as sales, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to key accounts.
  • Customer Support: Address customer complaints and activities, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Prior experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Engineer, or Field Application Engineer in the automotive industry is often required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Depending on the specific role, knowledge of semiconductors, automotive electronics, or vehicle components may be necessary.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex customer challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Results-Oriented: A proactive and results-driven mindset focused on achieving objectives and continuous improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
