Role Overview: As the Finance Accounting Group Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leading and directing a team of professionals will be a key part of your role. You must have a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they work together to achieve objectives. Strong commercial awareness is essential for this position. Your primary responsibility will be delivering a full range of services to one or more businesses/geographic regions. Effective communication skills are crucial for internal negotiations, often at a senior level, and potentially with external stakeholders. You will have accountability for the end results of your area, including control over resources, policy formulation, and planning. Your role will primarily impact a sub-function and involve short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources. Full management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including managing people, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and budget approval, will fall under your purview. Key Responsibilities: - Leading and directing a team of professionals - Having a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function - Applying in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions - Delivering a full range of services to businesses/geographic regions - Negotiating internally and externally at a senior level - Exercising control over resources, policy formulation, and planning - Managing people, budget, planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, and terminations Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of relevant experience - Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent - Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with different functions and levels of seniority - Analytical skills are a must - Ability to lead a team independently - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Proven track record of leading successful initiatives and driving change - Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills - Practical knowledge of US GAAP and Financial/Regulatory Reporting - Superior computer skills and ability to handle large data sets (Note: Additional Company Details section omitted as it was not provided in the Job Description),
