Asset Inventory Manager for a multi-country energy services business responsible for the development and execution of tactical and strategic initiatives to ensure company s Canrig, NDS, ST, WC WI product line Inventory Assets are maintained and preserved in accordance with global policies, procedures, and best practices. Responsible for managing the identification and disposal of obsolete inventory assets in accordance with global policies, procedures, and practices to achieve the best value. - Bachelors degree or diploma with minimum work experience of 5 to 10 years, preferably in Inventory Management, Asset Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations Management.
- Ability to utilize software programs such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visuals, AX, Oracle, TRACS and those developed internally.
- Be able to identify key components of product line equipment and understand their purpose.
- Be able to survey equipment to understand its condition.

Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal inventory levels are maintained across product lines

Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and improve inventory turnover rates.

Utilize data analytics to forecast demand and adjust inventory Safety Stock levels accordingly.

Collaborate with Magnolia Warehouse, sales, production, and finance teams to align inventory levels with business goals.

Provides materials planning and subject matter expertise to leadership.

Oversee warehouse operations either at 3PL site or at own facilities.

Utilize experience and knowledge to effectively coordinate warehouse operations maintain accuracy of inventory management within the warehouse.

Support the company s goals by providing efficient coordination of all warehouse activities, managing personnel, resources, processes and maintaining safety standards.

Coordinate shipping/receiving, inventory control, and customer service to maximize efficiency in the warehouse.

Develop strategies for warehouse cost reduction and enhance efficiency by process optimization.

Oversee planning activities such as review of forecasts generated by inventory planning tools, ensuring that regular inventory planning meetings are held and that actions arising from these meetings are executed.

Asset Management

Manage asset transfers within subsidiaries and operating countries according to policies and procedure.

Execute instructions from Houston Corporate and/or area to mobilize / transfer equipment.

Manage processing of documentation required for area-to-area transfers.

Manage asset identification which includes acquisition of asset numbers and asset tags.

Train local personnel regarding identifying assets and marking them properly.

Review myAssets database for accuracy, integrity and visibility.

Perform asset inventories and audits for countries that you work in as required by manager.

Manage, implement and maintain integrity of myAssets and others that may be introduced into the Asset Group. This includes ability to train other staff in the use of the necessary systems.

Ensure asset tracking system is utilized in order to maintain real-time asset inventories.

Assist in methods and systems to deplete surplus inventory and obsolete inventory.

Maintain accuracy and transparency for all asset and non-asset disposals.

Asset Disposal

Demonstrate good knowledge of the assets and their fair market value and assist to close sales in a timely manner.

Interface with area operations, Houston Corporate, and other subsidiaries as required.

Gather documentation and coordinate approvals for Inventory, scrap asset disposal as approved by those responsible on the equipment hierarchy.

Work with local scrap companies to process the material out of Nabors facilities or 3PL/Vendor sites.

Adheres to company s quality programs as detailed in the quality system procedures manual for maintenance and preservation of assets in operating and non-operating countries.

Coordinate with the country operations and finance teams to review AFEs and integrate them into the application, along with the necessary documentation for approval and project creation in Oracle.

Schedule meetings with the TRACS developer to test new features or bug fixes before they are implemented in the live system.

Gather and present data comparing stock levels against minimum and maximum thresholds to facilitate inventory orders and maintain optimal stock levels.

Create the TRACS catalog upon request.

Coordinate with the global team on significant asset and inventory reclassification changes for effective on-the-ground implementation across locations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, finance, sales, and marketing, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
Managerial Responsibilities

Continuously evaluate and improve assets and inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Supervises and responsible for the direction, training, and review of Asset Inventory related activities.

Manages physical inventories as required by corporate policy.

Supervises the disposal of assets and follow Corporate Fixed Asset Disposal Policy.

Supervise third party companies that may be working in our yards for asset disposal.

Monitor Inventory key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the Inventory Management process

Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Conduct regular performance reviews, setting clear objectives and providing feedback to team members.

Ensure the team is well-versed in Inventory Management trends, tools, and best practices.
