About Lokal
In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren’t really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they’d come back every day; once there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything online.
This spark became Lokal. Our first instinct was to put everything in one place & one app - local updates, classifieds, jobs, matrimony and more. It worked, till it stopped working. Users gave us the insight - when one use case outweighs the others, everything else seems like noise. We listened. Like how Craigslist quietly seeded a generation of focused companies & marketplaces, we began unbundling and verticalising.

Role Overview
The Field Verification Agent is responsible for conducting on-ground verification of assigned companies across designated zones in Hyderabad. The role involves visiting business locations, validating identity and operational details, and accurately updating verification information in the company CRM system.
Key Responsibilities
Visit and verify assigned companies as per the daily/weekly allocation list.
Conduct on-site verification of business address, identity, and operations.
Capture and update accurate verification details in the CRM system.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of verification reports.
Coordinate with the internal team for clarification, escalations, and status updates.
Requirements
Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel extensively within Hyderabad.
Basic communication skills are required.
Fluency in the regional language is mandatory; basic English knowledge is sufficient.
Prior experience with CRM tools is preferred but not mandatory (training will be provided).
Strong attention to detail and willingness to work in a field-based role.
