Job Overview: A Business Development Executive is responsible for generating sales, building client relationships, and expanding business opportunities through direct, on-the-ground interactions. This role requires extensive travel, market research, and face-to-face meetings with potential clients to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Lead Generation Identify and approach potential clients through field visits, networking, and cold calling. Develop new business opportunities by visiting target markets, industries, and customer locations. Conduct on-site meetings and presentations to showcase products/services. Achieve sales targets and revenue goals within assigned territories. 2. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand customer needs and provide customized solutions. Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Handle customer queries, concerns, and negotiations effectively. 3. Market Research & Competitor Analysis Gather market intelligence and analyze industry trends. Study competitors’ offerings and suggest improvements to business strategies. Identify new markets and opportunities for business expansion. 4. On-Ground Marketing & Brand Promotion Represent the company at trade shows, events, and networking opportunities. Educate potential customers on product benefits through live demonstrations. Distribute marketing materials and generate interest in the company’s offerings. 5. Reporting & Coordination Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client meetings, and market feedback. Report daily, weekly, and monthly progress to management. Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to optimize strategies. Key Skills & Qualifications: Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience in field sales, business development, or B2B sales. Ability to work independently and travel extensively. Knowledge of CRM tools and sales reporting techniques. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
