Field Operations Supervisor

Company Description

EyeROV (IROV Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) aims to be a technology leader and solution provider in underwater critical infrastructure inspections and surveys. EyeROV, our first product, is a smart and efficient micro-ROV/remotely operated underwater drone. The company was founded by IIT alumni and is supported by advisors from ex-DRDO, ex-Navy, and the marine industry. EyeROV is currently incubated at Maker Village, an initiative of the Government of India and the Government of Kerala.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Operations Supervisor, located in Ernakulam. The Field Operations Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the deployment and operation of underwater drones for inspections and surveys. Responsibilities include managing field teams, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment, and ensuring data collection accuracy and efficiency. The role also involves troubleshooting in-field issues, preparing reports, and liaising with clients to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing field operations and supervising teams
• Technical expertise in operating and troubleshooting remotely operated vehicles (ROVs)
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Background in electrical, ocean, or marine engineering is highly desirable
• Willingness to travel and work in challenging environments
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Science, or related field
