Muthoot Microfin, part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG), is a leading microfinance institution dedicated to providing micro-loans to women in rural areas of India. The company employs a joint liability group (JLG) model, primarily supporting women from economically weaker sections. Muthoot Microfin's operations are centered on promoting entrepreneurship and inclusive growth among women. They offer financial assistance through micro loans, such as income-generating loans for women engaged in small businesses.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Officer located in Odisha, India. The Field Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the micro-loan processes within their assigned region. They will conduct field visits, manage client relations, and ensure compliance with the JLG model. Day-to-day tasks include client assessment, loan disbursement, collection of repayments, and monitoring the progress of the financed projects. The Field Officer will also be responsible for reporting and record-keeping, along with promoting financial literacy among the clients.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct field visits and manage client relations
Experience in loan disbursement and repayment collections
Skills in reporting, record-keeping, and compliance
Knowledge of financial literacy and micro-lending principles
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience working in rural areas and understanding local dialects is beneficial
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
