About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Field Geologist with hands-on experience in gravity and magnetic survey operations. The ideal candidate should be highly adaptable, willing to travel extensively, and capable of working in challenging field environments across India. This role involves conducting geophysical data collection, site investigations, and assisting in geological interpretations to support ongoing exploration and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct gravity and magnetic field surveys as per project scope and standards.
• Collect, record, and validate geological and geophysical data in various terrains.
• Assist in survey planning, site mapping, and sample collection activities.
• Ensure proper calibration, handling, and maintenance of geophysical instruments.
• Support geological analysis and interpretation for reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, surveyors, and project managers.
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to company policies while working on-site.
• Prepare detailed field reports and documentation for project submission.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Master's Degree in Geology.
• 2–3 years of relevant field experience in gravity and magnetic surveys.
• Strong knowledge of field sampling techniques and geophysical data handling.
• Ability to work independently in remote locations and dynamic field conditions.
• Proficiency in field instruments and basic geological mapping tools.
• Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to work anywhere in India as per project requirements.

Preferred Attributes

• Familiarity with data processing software/tools for gravity-magnetic surveys.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and adaptability to extended field schedules.
