About the Role

Field Geologist


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct gravity and magnetic field surveys as per project scope and standards.
  • Collect, record, and validate geological and geophysical data in various terrains.
  • Assist in survey planning, site mapping, and sample collection activities.
  • Ensure proper calibration, handling, and maintenance of geophysical instruments.
  • Support geological analysis and interpretation for reporting and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, surveyors, and project managers.
  • Maintain safety standards and adhere to company policies while working on-site.
  • Prepare detailed field reports and documentation for project submission.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's Degree in Geology / Geophysics or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of relevant field experience

    in gravity and magnetic surveys.
  • Strong knowledge of field sampling techniques and geophysical data handling.
  • Ability to work independently in remote locations and dynamic field conditions.
  • Proficiency in field instruments and basic geological mapping tools.
  • Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to

    work anywhere in India

    as per project requirements.


Preferred Attributes

  • Familiarity with data processing software/tools for gravity-magnetic surveys.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and adaptability to extended field schedules.
