Field Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for traveling to solar project sites across India for installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems, including rooftop and utility-scale systems. You will supervise and coordinate with on-site contractors and technicians to ensure the quality and timely execution of work. Additionally, you will conduct routine site audits and performance checks on solar PV systems and associated electrical equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Travel to solar project sites across India for installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems (rooftop and utility-scale). - Supervise and coordinate with on-site contractors and technicians to ensure quality and timely execution of work. - Conduct routine site audits and performance checks on solar PV systems and associated electrical equipment. - Troubleshoot technical issues related to inverters, panels, wiring, and monitoring systems. - Ensure compliance with technical drawings, safety standards, and company protocols. - Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, including installation progress, incident logs, and system performance. - Liaise with the design, procurement, and project management teams to align on project timelines and requirements. - Provide technical support and training to local teams or customers when needed. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in solar power system installation, inspection, and commissioning. - Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, panels, and monitoring systems. - Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. - Excellent communication and coordination skills. - Understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements. - Willingness to travel to different project sites across India. - Full-time availability for the day shift work schedule.
