Field Auditor

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct field audits of branches, agents, and customers as per audit plan
• Verify loan documentation, KYC records, and customer profiles
• Perform physical verification of assets/collateral (vehicle, property, inventory, etc.)
• Check loan utilization, repayment status, and customer authenticity
• Identify fraud risks, policy deviations, and operational gaps
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and NBFC internal policies
• Prepare and submit audit reports with observations and recommendations
• Coordinate with branch staff to resolve audit queries
• Follow up on audit closures and corrective actions

Preferred candidate profile

• Basic knowledge of NBFC operations and loan processes
• Understanding of KYC, AML, and audit procedures
• Good analytical and observation skills
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, audit apps)
