FastAPI Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled React + FastAPI Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable web applications using React (frontend) and FastAPI (backend), with exposure to REST APIs, database management, and cloud deployments. This is a hybrid opportunity, combining the flexibility of remote work with periodic in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using React.js (frontend) and FastAPI (backend).
• Build, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs for smooth frontend–backend communication.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, QA) to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in React.js and FastAPI development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Backend expertise in FastAPI (Python) with knowledge of middleware, authentication, and API security.
• Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Recoil).
• Knowledge of GraphQL or WebSockets.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Prior experience in hybrid/remote team collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
