Job Description

To undertake the development of modern backend services and APIs using Python, with a focus on FastAPI framework, following industry best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
The candidate should have strong expertise in Python development and data modeling, particularly with MongoDB as the primary database. The role requires a strong understanding of asynchronous programming, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable, testable, and maintainable backend solutions for digital applications and integrations.
Experience working with backend development and API design is necessary. Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including remote teams) are essential.
Proficient in
Python
, with strong experience using
FastAPI
to build asynchronous and high-performance web APIs
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and API security best practices (OAuth2, JWT)
Experience with
MongoDB
, including advanced
data modeling
, performance tuning, and aggregation framework
Familiarity with
microservices architecture
, containerization (Docker), and deployment pipelines
Ability to write
clean, modular, testable code
, following design patterns and scalable architecture principles
Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and build tools like
Poetry
or
pipenv
Strong understanding of backend logging, monitoring, and observability tools
Experience with writing
unit, integration, and load tests
Additional experience with
PostgreSQL
,
Redis
, or other NoSQL/SQL databases is a plus
Knowledge in Telecom domain (i. e. OSS/BSS, EAI) is optional but preferred
FastAPI, Python, or MongoDB-related certifications are a plus.
bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
