Fashion Merchandiser

Job Summary

The Fashion Merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating product selection, inventory planning, and visual presentation for in-house operations. The role ensures the right products are available at the right time while maintaining brand standards and supporting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buying and design teams for product selection and assortment planning
• Monitor stock levels, slow-moving items, and replenishment requirements
• Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and market demand
• Plan product launches, seasonal collections, and in-store displays
• Ensure pricing, tagging, and SKU accuracy across inventory
• Work closely with store teams for product placement and visual merchandising support
• Prepare weekly and monthly merchandising reports
• Maintain communication with suppliers for sample tracking and approvals
• Support inventory audits and stock rotation to reduce shrinkage
• Assist in promotional planning and festival/seasonal offers

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, and garment categories
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory software (ERP preferred)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work under timelines and multitask

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising / Fashion Technology / Retail Management
• 1–3 years of experience in fashion retail or merchandising (freshers with internship can be considered)

Work Type

• In-House / Office-Based (No fieldwork)

Preferred Experience (Optional)

• Exposure to apparel, footwear, or lifestyle brands
• Experience in stock planning or assortment management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
