• Trend Forecasting & Research:

  Conduct in-depth research on upcoming fashion trends, fabric innovations, color palettes, and market demands specifically within the sleepwear and loungewear categories. Identify opportunities to integrate these insights into Organzaa's unique aesthetic.

• Concept Development:

  Translate trend research and brand vision into original and compelling design concepts for new sleepwear collections. Develop mood boards, color stories, and initial sketches that capture the essence of each collection.

• Design & Illustration:

  Create detailed fashion illustrations and technical drawings (both hand-sketched and using CAD software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) for a variety of sleepwear garments, including nightgowns, pajama sets, robes, and loungewear.

• Fabric & Trim Selection:

  Source and select luxurious fabrics (with a focus on organza and other premium, comfortable materials), trims, embellishments, and hardware that align with Organzaa's quality standards and design direction.

• Pattern & Prototype Oversight:

  Collaborate closely with pattern makers and sample room teams to develop initial prototypes, ensuring accurate fit, construction, and design execution. Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.

• Production Collaboration:

  Work in tandem with our production and merchandising teams to ensure designs are technically feasible, cost-effective, and meet production timelines. Oversee the sample development process from first prototype to final production sample.

• Quality Assurance:

  Maintain a strong understanding of garment construction and quality control standards, ensuring all designs translate into high-quality finished products.

• Market Alignment:

  Understand the Organzaa target audience and design with their preferences and lifestyle in mind, ensuring commercial viability while maintaining artistic integrity.

• Competitive Analysis:

  Stay informed about competitor collections and market positioning to identify unique selling propositions for Organzaa's offerings.

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Fashion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing sleepwear or intimate apparel designs.
• Proven ability to identify and interpret fashion trends relevant to the sleepwear market.
• Proficiency in fashion design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.
• Excellent sketching and illustration skills (both hand and digital).
• Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, and fabric properties, particularly for delicate and luxurious materials.
• Exceptional eye for detail, color, and aesthetic.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for creating comfortable, elegant, and high-quality sleepwear.
