Fashion Content Writer

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality written content including articles, trend reports, product descriptions, interviews, lookbook copy, newsletters, and social media content
• Stay up-to-date with global fashion trends, seasonal collections, industry news, and key fashion events
• Pitch creative content ideas aligned with brand objectives, campaigns, and current style movements
• Conduct interviews with designers, stylists, influencers, and other industry professionals
• Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and merchandising teams to ensure consistent brand voice
• Research and analyze competitor content, fashion publications, and cultural trends
• Optimize content for SEO while maintaining editorial integrity and storytelling
• Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and delivered on schedule
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Previous experience writing for a fashion magazine, digital fashion platform, or editorial publication
• Strong understanding of the fashion industry, including designers, brands, fabrics, silhouettes, and key seasonal trends
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an editorial tone suited to fashion audiences
• Ability to interpret runway shows, fashion weeks, and seasonal drops into reader-friendly content
• Familiarity with fashion terminology, styling concepts, and industry vocabulary
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital content trends
• Strong research skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with brand copywriting in fashion e-commerce
• Understanding of social media content trends (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)
• Portfolio showcasing fashion-focused editorial work
• Strong interest in sustainability, luxury fashion, or streetwear (depending on brand direction)
