Factory Operations & Administration Manager

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production Management

  • Supervise daily production activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor workflow, machine utilization, and production efficiency.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for machines and equipment.
  • Ensure regular machine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to troubleshoot minor machine issues.

Worker Management & Discipline

  • Plan and allocate workforce across shifts and departments efficiently.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, and shift compliance.
  • Maintain workplace discipline, resolve conflicts, and motivate staff.
  • Supervise supervisors, housekeeping, and production workers.
  • Provide training and guidance to workers for improved performance.

Administration & Coordination

  • Serve as the main point of contact for workers, supervisors, vendors, and management.
  • Maintain production, material, and manpower records.
  • Follow up with suppliers for timely availability of raw materials.
  • Ensure compliance with factory policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Housekeeping & Facility Management

  • Oversee housekeeping staff and maintain factory cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage proper waste disposal and workplace safety protocols.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on production, manpower, machine maintenance, and operational issues.
  • Maintain logs of incidents, maintenance, and resolutions.
  • Suggest improvements for operational efficiency and productivity.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage production, administration, and housekeeping simultaneously.
  • Skilled in workforce planning, discipline management, and team motivation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, email, and reporting.
  • Experience handling 50–200 workers in a factory setup is preferred.
