URGENT REQUIREMENT FACTORY MANAGER

Description

We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in India; the Group company is in business for 80+ years.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production management, with a proven track record of leading manpower teams and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the factory to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Manage and lead a team of production staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to meet deadlines and optimize resources.
• Monitor production metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with other departments such as supply chain, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement cost control measures and manage budgets effectively to maximize profitability.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety practices and operational procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in production planning and inventory management software.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control principles and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
