Facility Executive (Soft Service) Coimbatore

Job Overview:

The Facility Executive is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and management of company facilities. This role involves ensuring that all building systems, services, and equipment function effectively, maintaining a safe and productive environment for employees, contractors, and visitors. The Facility Executive will coordinate repairs, service contracts, and facility improvements while managing a team and liaising with vendors and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Management:
• Oversee the overall maintenance of office buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations for facility operations.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections for all facility-related issues.
• Monitor facility infrastructure and equipment for preventive maintenance, initiating repairs as needed.
• Vendor & Contractor Management:
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for routine and emergency maintenance (e.g., cleaning services, waste management, security).
• Manage vendor relationships, ensure quality service, and track performance against service level agreements (SLAs).
• Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Space Planning & Optimization:
• Manage office layout, furniture, and space allocation to maximize efficiency and accommodate employees.
• Plan and implement space reconfigurations based on departmental needs and growth.
• Oversee office moves, seating arrangements, and related logistics.
• Health, Safety & Security:
• Ensure the facility complies with local laws and regulations related to building codes, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
• Implement emergency procedures for fire drills, evacuations, and health crises.
• Liaise with security providers to ensure effective security measures are in place for the building, including surveillance and access control.
• Budget & Cost Management:
• Develop and manage the facility’s operational budget, ensuring cost efficiency and minimizing overheads.
• Track expenses related to facility management, including maintenance, utilities, and consumables.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities, such as energy-efficient solutions, waste reduction, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Sustainability & Environmental Management:
• Oversee initiatives to ensure sustainable practices in facility management, including waste management, energy use, and recycling.
• Implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce the company’s environmental footprint (e.g., LED lighting, energy-efficient HVAC systems).
• Emergency & Incident Management:
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies such as leaks, electrical failures, fire alarms, etc.
• Document and resolve incidents efficiently, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• Maintain an up-to-date emergency response plan and ensure all employees are familiar with it.
• Staff Supervision & Coordination:
• Supervise the in-house facilities team (e.g., maintenance workers, cleaners, and other support staff).
• Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for facility staff.
• Ensure the facility team adheres to health and safety policies and company guidelines.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and facility-related activities.
• Prepare regular reports on the status of facility operations, maintenance schedules, and incident resolutions for management.
• Track and report on key metrics, including facility downtime, repair costs, and vendor performance.

Salary : 30000 to 40000+ ESI + PF + Yearly Bonus.
