Facilities Manager

Location:

The Facility Manager will oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient functioning of all hospital facilities. This role involves coordinating with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure a clean, safe, and well-managed environment for patients, clients, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other essential building systems.
• Supervise housekeeping, security, and support staff to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service technicians for timely repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor cleanliness, waste management processes, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of medical equipment support systems such as water supply, power backup, and HVAC.
• Prepare and manage facility budgets, track expenses, and process vendor payments.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Address facility-related emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Assist hospital administration with facility upgrades, renovations, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in facility management, ideally in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Effective vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Work Timings:

• Full-time role, with flexibility to respond to emergencies outside regular working hours.
