Facade Project Manager

A Façade Project Manager is responsible for managing the design, procurement, fabrication, and installation of façade systems on construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Manage façade works from design to installation on-site.
• Design Management: Work with architects, consultants, and engineers to ensure façade designs meet structural and aesthetic requirements.
• Procurement: Source materials and façade systems, including glass, aluminum, stone, etc.
• Scheduling: Create and maintain project timelines and milestones.
• Cost Control: Monitor budgets and manage cost variations.
• Subcontractor Management: Oversee façade installers, fabricators, and other subcontractors.
• Quality Control: Ensure façade systems are installed according to specifications and standards.
• Health & Safety: Enforce safety regulations on-site related to façade works.
• Interface Management: Coordinate with other trades (e.g., structural, MEP) to resolve clashes.
• Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills: Education:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

Experience:

• 5+ years in façade/cladding systems (management roles preferred)
• Experience on large-scale commercial or residential projects

Skills:

• Knowledge of façade systems (curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing, etc.)
• Familiarity with materials: glass, aluminum, steel, stone, etc.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings
• Strong knowledge of construction codes and façade engineering principles
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Project management software proficiency (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
• CAD or BIM familiarity is often a plus
