Facade Project Manager

As a Faade Project Manager, your role involves managing the design, procurement, fabrication, and installation of faade systems on construction projects. This includes curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and other external envelope elements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Project Coordination: You will be responsible for managing faade works from design to installation on-site. - Design Management: Collaborate with architects, consultants, and engineers to ensure faade designs meet structural and aesthetic requirements. - Procurement: Source materials and faade systems such as glass, aluminum, and stone. - Scheduling: Develop and maintain project timelines and milestones. - Cost Control: Monitor budgets and manage cost variations effectively. - Subcontractor Management: Oversee faade installers, fabricators, and other subcontractors involved in the project. - Quality Control: Ensure faade systems are installed according to specifications and standards. - Health & Safety: Enforce safety regulations on-site related to faade works. - Interface Management: Coordinate with other trades to resolve clashes and ensure smooth project progress. - Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders. As for the qualifications and skills required for this role, you should have: Qualifications: - Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field Experience: - 5+ years in faade/cladding systems, preferably in management roles - Experience working on large-scale commercial or residential projects Skills: - Knowledge of faade systems such as curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, and glazing - Familiarity with materials like glass, aluminum, steel, and stone - Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings - Strong knowledge of construction codes and faade engineering principles - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar - CAD or BIM familiarity is often a plus This is a full-time job opportunity with benefits including cell phone reimbursement and internet reimbursement.
