Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identify and develop new contract manufacturers while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Manage product supply, production planning, and delivery schedules across contract sites.
Conduct techno/commercial audits, support product & technology transfers, and ensure cGMP compliance.
Coordinate with materials, logistics, and cross-functional teams (R&D, QA, Accounts, PPIC).
Lead commercial negotiations and prepare manufacturing budgets.
Drive cost improvement initiatives and handle market complaints/deviations.
Review yield, consumption, and implement corrective actions for optimization.
Prepare monthly production plans, reports, and provide MIS to management.
Support R&D and packaging development trials at contract sites.
Ensure DGFT and regulatory compliance across all manufacturing locations.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: B. Pharm / M. Pharm
Experience: 5-7 years in handling production activities at CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organizations)
Strong knowledge of cGMP & GDP practices
Proven experience in troubleshooting production issues
Effective coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams (QA, PPIC, R&D, Logistics, HR, Admin, Projects, RA, Accounts, QC)
