Purchase Executive

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Purchase Executive to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services, maintaining vendor relationships, and controlling costs.

Detailed Description

• Source and purchase products, materials, and services required by the company.
• Negotiate with vendors for the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Place purchase orders, track order status, and update internal teams on progress.

Vendor Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new suppliers as needed.
• Manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with terms and agreements.
• Address supplier issues, such as delays, quality concerns, and invoicing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels.
• Work with the warehouse team to monitor inventory usage and stock needs.
• Assist in the implementation of stock rotation and replenishment strategies.

Cost Control & Budgeting

• Monitor purchasing budgets and ensure adherence to cost control guidelines.
• Provide reports on purchase activities, cost savings, and budget forecasts.
• Assist in cost-reduction initiatives by analyzing spending trends.
• Maintain proper documentation for all purchase orders and supplier agreements.
• Ensure timely submission of purchase reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
• Handle invoice verification and payment processing.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all purchasing practices comply with company policies and legal requirements.
