Job Description

As a Sales Head - Export at Alankaram based in Alankaram Head Office, Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, you will report directly to the Sales Director. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the sales efforts in the export vertical, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion, and client acquisition. You will be required to develop customized strategies, manage dedicated teams, and ensure the achievement of sales targets. This role demands a deep understanding of the market, strong leadership skills, and a results-oriented approach. Frequent travel will be necessary for business development and client engagements. Your key responsibilities will include identifying and developing new markets for Alankaram's premium furniture offerings, building relationships with international distributors, retailers, and project clients, managing export logistics, compliance, and documentation, representing Alankaram at international expos and trade fairs, developing and executing vertical-specific sales strategies aligned with Alankaram's growth goals, monitoring market trends, competition, and client preferences, driving upselling opportunities for various products alongside furniture, building and leading high-performing sales teams for each vertical, ensuring 100% compliance with CRM (Leadsquared) and reporting systems, and overseeing coordination with back-office and design teams to ensure timely approvals, quotations, and deliveries. To excel in this role, you should have at least 15+ years of experience as an Export Sales Head in international sales/export management. An MBA in Sales/Marketing or equivalent education is required. You should possess strong leadership and team management capabilities, excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills, proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you must be willing to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
