Job Title: Export Manager – Mattress & Foam Products
(International Business Development)
Location: Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, India

🧩 Role Summary
We are seeking a high-ownership Export Manager with proven experience in mattress, PU foam, or related manufacturing exports, who can systematically identify international buyers using data and market intelligence, convert them through proactive outreach, and manage them end-to-end.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building export business from scratch, not just servicing inquiries.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Export Buyer Identification & Outreach (Core Responsibility)
Identify importers, distributors, OEM buyers, retailers & private-label partners for:
Mattresses
PU foam sheets/blocks
Cushions, sleep accessories, coir & hybrid products
Use data tools & resources such as:
Import-export databases (Import Yeti, Trade Map, Export Genius, etc.)
B2B portals (Alibaba, Global Sources, IndiaMART, Trade India)
Trade fair databases, embassy trade leads, market reports
Execute cold & warm outreach via email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp & calls
Position products based on specs, densities, certifications, pricing & MOQ
2️⃣ Lead Conversion & Export Sales Closure
Handle enquiries from first contact to order confirmation
Prepare export quotations, costing, MOQs & samples
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, Incoterms & shipment schedules
Convert leads into regular export customers
3️⃣ End-to-End Export Client Management
Act as a single point of contact for assigned export buyers
Coordinate internally with:
Production
Quality / Testing
Packing
Logistics & documentation teams
Ensure smooth execution of:
Sampling approvals
Order processing
Dispatch & documentation
Manage repeat orders, range expansion & long-term relationships
4️⃣ Market Intelligence & Data Tracking
Track:
Country-wise demand trends
Foam density & mattress specification preferences
Competitor pricing & positioning
Maintain CRM with buyer pipeline, follow-ups & conversion status
Share insights for new market entry & product development
5️⃣ Trade Shows & Global Business Development
Participate in international exhibitions (as required)
Convert exhibition leads into active buyers through structured follow-ups
🧠 Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of mattress & foam products
Hands-on experience in export buyer hunting
Excellent communication & negotiation skills
Knowledge of:
Incoterms
Export documentation
International payment terms (LC, Advance, DP/DA)
Data-driven, self-motivated & result-oriented mindset
🎓 Qualifications
Graduate / Postgraduate in International Business, Marketing or related field
Prior experience in mattress/foam/manufacturing exports is mandatory
