Export Documentation & Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Export Documentation & Coordination

  • Prepare and manage pre- and post-shipment export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading, etc.).
  • File and process shipping bills via

    ICEGATE

    and liaise with

    Custom House Agents (CHA)

    .
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and CHAs for timely dispatch of consignments.
  • Ensure compliance with

    DGFT

    regulations and handle related documentation including

    eBRC

    ,

    RoDTEP

    , etc.

Banking & Export Payments

  • Submit required documents to the bank for

    export payment realization

    under Letter of Credit (LC) or Advance payment terms.
  • Follow up with the bank for realization certificates and ensure payment timelines are met.
  • Manage

    FIRC

    ,

    eBRC

    documentation, and reconciliation with bank entries.

Accounting & Data Entry

  • Record export sales and payment entries in the accounting software (e.g., Tally or Zoho Books).
  • Assist in reconciling accounts related to exports, logistics costs, and inward remittances.
  • Maintain ledger accuracy and support monthly closing activities.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in

    export documentation and accounting

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    DGFT portal

    ,

    ICEGATE

    , and

    bank submission processes

    .
  • Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar).
  • Familiarity with GST on exports, RoDTEP/MEIS schemes, and customs compliance.

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
