Descriptif mission Actively involved in the development and execution of policies, procedures and practises related to various national and international compliance and export/import control laws and regulations that govern SLS Canada Inc. both at the Ajax and Montreal facilities. Perform all Designated Official (DO) daily activities as required (this will require getting certified as the DO as well). Exercise signing authority for various internal documents such as IS Requests, QIS Requests, Contractor Responsibility Agreement as well as PWGSC documents related to CGP such as Temporary Worker Applications, Visitor Exemption Applications and Employee Security Assessment Applications and related documents. Oversee all departmental repositories and archives of data, employee files etc. Support, liaise with and provide guidance to all functional areas where required ie. Procurement, Supplier Quality, Purchasing, R & O, HR etc. regarding requirements and obligations of export control. Liaise with government officials and regulatory agencies regarding company compliance to CGP, ITAR and EAR. Build a new dedicated Export Control Database to support an evolution of the Security Screening Process. Support a website transformation for Export Control. Strong integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information. Advanced competency in MS Office suite of tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
