The Store Manager oversees the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth functioning, high customer satisfaction, and achievement of sales and profitability goals. This role is responsible for staff management, inventory control, merchandising, customer service, and maintaining company standards.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store employees.
  • Schedule staff and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or corrective action when needed.
  • Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork and high performance.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer issues or complaints.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend strategies to improve sales.

Store Operations

  • Oversee daily store opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and operational standards.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed.

Inventory & Merchandising

  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and prevent shrinkage.
  • Ensure accurate ordering, receiving, stocking, and product rotation.
  • Implement merchandising plans to maximize product visibility and sales.

Financial Management

  • Monitor store budgets, payroll, and operating expenses.
  • Review daily/weekly sales reports and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Handle cash management, reconciliation, deposits, and financial documentation.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and submit operational, sales, and staff-related reports.
  • Communicate effectively with district/regional managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide updates on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
