Job Description

Role & responsibilities Manage the reporting template/tool that is used for efficiency program submission Ensure agencies and HQ business units submit efficiency initiatives timely Monitor and push through work flow process to ensure each of the efficiency initiatives are escalated and validated by the relevant parties (RO + HQ business units) Perform additional validation of key initiatives to ensure they are in compliance with program requirements, i.e., logic, cost, categorization, etc. Perform sampling audit of the initiatives to ensure they are in order Liaise with agencies and business units to clarify and resolve submissions that are not in order Report efficiency report to HQ efficiency team (excel with program details, findings, summary savings, etc.) Prepare presentation using power-point or equivalent tools for senior management reporting Shipping Business: Familiarity with liner shipping operations and processes Financial reporting: Well verse in financial and cost reporting Presentation: Skilled in preparing management presentation, i.e., power-point Support $100M in annual cost improvements Annual cost saving target of at least $100-150M Preferred candidate profile Bachelor Degree or diploma A minimum of 2 years experience in finance, cost management, operations and supply chain Experience in liaison with cross cultural in a global organization Chennai Candidates are preferred
