Role & responsibilities 24/7 remote monitoring of live refrigerated container performance: Manual Log Consolidate manual reporting Log from vessels, typically at least 2x a day and comprising of temperature, CO2, O2 etc. Monitor temperature, parameters and performance vs. set point. Input record to CTA system to provide visibility for customers Telematics Use PIL Telematics system to receive reefer temperature performance Monitor temperature, parameters and performance vs. set point. Reefer exception management Reefer Malfunction Escalate to external technical support team so that they can provide repair or related instructions to the vessel If reefer function normally after repair, to continue monitoring If reefer cannot be repair or repair is not effective, to escalate to HQ reefer team (equipment, trade, operations, commercial) Assist to coordinate exception handling per HQ reefer team instructions; this may involve: Off-load next port for repair Continue to destination with close monitoring Change of destination Other appropriate measures Reefer ship kits Monitor inventory and phase in / out Support and trigger replenishment Compile weekly / monthly report to HQ reefer team Preferred candidate profile Principle of refrigeration cycle (advantage) Education: Diploma/Degree Holder, University qualification in engineering or equivalent preferred Preferably a minimum of 2 years experience in container operations, technical or cold chain Chennai Candidates Preferred.
