Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Liaise with government departments, municipal bodies, development authorities, pollution control boards, and other statutory agencies for project approvals and NOCs.
Facilitate and follow up on construction permits, environmental clearances, building plan approvals, and utility connections (water, electricity, etc.).
Coordinate with legal, design, and project teams to ensure timely submission of required documents for approvals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local laws, building by-laws, and regulatory requirements affecting construction projects.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with officials, consultants, and stakeholders.
Track and update the management on the status of approvals, renewals, and compliances.
Prepare and maintain records, correspondence, and documentation related to liaisoning activities.
Assist in handling land acquisition, registration, and documentation processes (if applicable).
Support management in representing the company at official meetings, hearings, and inspections.
Ensure all liaisoning activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with legal norms.

Preferred candidate profile

3 To 5 years
of experience in a liaison, project management, or coordination role, ideally within the
construction industry
.

Experience working on
large-scale construction projects
, particularly involving
multiple stakeholders
(clients, contractors, vendors, regulatory bodies, etc.).
