Job Description

1. Manpower Planning & Recruitment

  • Coordinate with plant leadership for manpower planning and workforce requirements.
  • Handle recruitment for plant-level positions including operators, supervisors, engineers, and contractual staff.
  • Manage onboarding, induction, and deployment of new hires.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Maintain healthy industrial relations at the plant.
  • Address employee grievances and ensure timely resolution.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and welfare initiatives.
  • Support disciplinary actions in line with company policy.

3. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements such as:
    • Factories Act
    • CLRA
    • PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus
    • Minimum Wages Act
  • Coordinate with external agencies, labor authorities, and inspectors.
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, and returns.

4. Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Monitor attendance, shift rosters, leave management, and overtime.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with the corporate HR/payroll team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of wages and salaries.

5. Contract Labor Management

  • Manage contract labor deployment and ensure compliance with contractors.
  • Verify contractor bills, attendance, and statutory compliance documents.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and safety induction of contract workers.

6. Performance Management & Training

  • Support implementation of performance appraisal systems at the plant.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs.
  • Facilitate internal and external training sessions.

7. Policy Implementation & HR Operations

  • Implement HR policies, procedures, and systems at the plant.
  • Maintain employee records, HR MIS, and documentation.
  • Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews.

  • Hands-on experience in plant HR operations
