Executive - HR (Generalist)

As an HR professional in this role, you will be responsible for various key areas within the HR function: - Role Overview: You will coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, and selection. Additionally, you will oversee the onboarding process for new faculty, administrative staff, and student workers, ensuring a smooth orientation, documentation, and system access. - Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and timelines. - Provide guidance and coaching on policies, performance expectations, and conflict resolution to faculty, managers, and staff. - Support performance review processes by setting timelines, collecting feedback, and ensuring completion. - Manage disciplinary processes in collaboration with senior HR leadership when needed. - Ensure compliance with labor laws, university policies, and regulations, including updating and enforcing HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures. - Maintain accurate personnel records while prioritizing confidentiality. - Update the HR Information System (HRMS) with precise employee data. - Generate reports and analytics on turnover, absenteeism, diversity metrics, and support audits related to HR data. - Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in recruitment and onboarding processes. - Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, and compliance. - Familiarity with HR data management systems and generating reports. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide guidance and coaching effectively.
