What to expect:

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance for all plant and utility equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted utility services during production hours at optimum cost and standards.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with user departments.
• Prepare SOPs, equipment qualification protocols, and related documentation.
• Support energy-saving and efficiency improvement projects.
• Operate and maintain boilers and water systems with proper documentation.
• Monitor energy usage (electricity, steam, compressed air, etc.) and implement conservation measures.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, and HR teams for maintenance activities.
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of plant utilities – boilers, water systems, compressed air, and HVAC.
• Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical documentation.
• Understanding of energy management and cost optimization.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with equipment installation and modification projects.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / industrial engineering (or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of experience in plant and utility maintenance (preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry).
• Certification in Boiler Operations / Utility Maintenance (preferred).
• Knowledge of cGMP standards and utility systems.
