Executive Director-Assurance (Private Clients)-Core Audit

As an Assurance Delivery Network Role at EY, you will play a crucial role in leading the service delivery for EY Private engagements in the US Central region. Your client-centric approach will involve building strong relationships with key clients, collaborating with client executives, and delivering high-quality audit services using the wider EY and One GDS ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading a portfolio of 8-10 large Private clients in the US Central region - Collaborating with GCSP to build strong relationships with client executives and audit committee - Participating in EY Private forums to understand challenges and opportunities for GDS integration - Managing risk at the practice and engagement level while maintaining independence and objectivity - Leading a high performing team of audit professionals - Driving mobility opportunities for senior managers and managers on the US Central Private portfolio - Transforming audit delivery through automation tools and data analytics - Developing a deep understanding of clients" business goals, sector, and EY services to drive audit strategy - Delivering insights on the account to gain trust and confidence of the client - Developing a strategy to increase GDS's footprint on the account across service lines In addition, your essential functions in this role will include: - Leading the portfolio of large private US Central clients under the construct of Account centricity program through ONE GDS team - Participating in EY Private forums to understand challenges and opportunities for GDS integration - Delivering high-quality audit services using the EY and GDS ecosystem - Developing a world-class team of audit professionals - Providing mentorship and coaching to direct reporting Executive Director and Senior Managers - Demonstrating leadership by setting an example in quality, client service, efficiency, and use of GDS - Partnering with GDS and Area digital leadership to accelerate development and adoption of digital solutions - Ensuring compliance with ethics and independence requirements - Advocating for change to streamline GDS processes - Providing directions on specialized training and talent management within the team Your qualifications for this role include being a Chartered Accountant from ICAI with 14+ years of post-qualification experience in global strategic and transformation roles. You should have hands-on experience in team management and global environments, along with strong technical competencies in audit knowledge, project management, and developing new services.
