Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Executive Communications Specialist to support and elevate the communications of CGI’s senior leadership team. This individual will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling narratives, building thought leadership content, and ensuring consistent, high-impact messaging across internal and external channels.The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller with a strong grasp of the IT and consulting landscape, who can transform complex ideas into clear, engaging messages tailored for diverse audiences.Key Responsibilities
- Executive writing: Develop speeches, articles, blogs, thought leadership pieces, and executive scripts for senior leaders, ensuring tone, voice, and intent align with CGI’s values and business strategy.
- Thought leadership development: Build strong, research-backed points of view (POVs) on key industry trends, technologies, and organizational priorities by collaborating with internal research and insights teams.
- Internal and external communications: Craft internal and external communication for senior executives that inspire, inform, and align CGI’s global workforce with leadership vision and organizational goals.
- Message strategy & positioning: Partner with the communications and marketing teams to define consistent messaging frameworks and narrative themes for executives.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate with senior business leaders, subject matter experts, and creative teams to ensure communications are accurate, impactful, and strategically aligned.
Profile Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in executive or corporate communications or content creator for leading print or tv media. IT or technology consulting industry will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in writing for C-level executives or senior leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to match different executive voices.
- Strong listening and synthesis skills to be able to capture nuance, strategy, and tone from conversations and briefings.
- Adept at transforming technical or business topics into engaging, accessible narratives.
- Self-motivated and proactive and be able to thrive in an individual contributor role within a collaborative, fast-paced, global organization.
