Executive Chef – R&D Kitchen | Premium QSR Concept | Pune

Company Overview
We are building an upcoming, trend-setting Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand that blends innovation, precision, and culinary artistry. To bring this vision to life, we are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Executive Chef to lead our Research & Development Kitchen in Pune.

This is a unique opportunity for culinary leaders who want to shape and launch a pioneering QSR concept with an emphasis on quality, creativity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Butchery Expertise – Skilled in deboning, cutting, and handling premium meat cuts with precision.
  • Bakery & Pastry Mastery – Strong background in bakery and pastry with the ability to create innovative product lines.
  • Equipment Proficiency – Hands-on knowledge of advanced bakery and kitchen equipment; capable of training staff in their efficient use.
  • Operational Leadership – Develop and implement SOPs for smooth, standardized, and scalable kitchen operations.
  • Food Safety & Compliance – Ensure strict adherence to HACCP and best practices in food hygiene and safety.
  • Pre-Opening Experience – Involved in setting up and launching new kitchens from planning through execution.
  • Menu & Cost Management – Expertise in menu engineering, budgeting, and optimizing costs without compromising quality.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in senior culinary roles, preferably within QSR, casual dining, or R&D kitchens.
  • Proven track record of balancing creativity with operational discipline.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and inspire kitchen staff.
  • Knowledge of global food trends and ability to adapt them into scalable QSR products.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
