Job Description

  • Track and interpret central and state-level green hydrogen policies, incentives, and regulatory frameworks; coordinate with relevant government and nodal agencies to support bidding and project development.
  • Identify, evaluate, and support strategic partnerships and consortium formations with technology providers, EPC partners, financiers, and offtake partners; assist in MoUs, NDAs, and alliance structuring.
  • Develop green hydrogen demand pipelines by engaging industrial customers across sectors such as refineries, steel, chemicals, mobility, and gas applications; support offtake discussions and long-term supply opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive and market intelligence, including tracking competitor activities, technology positioning, tender participation, and pricing trends to strengthen bid strategy.
  • Support site feasibility assessments, including land availability, water access, grid connectivity, renewable integration, and preliminary techno-economic evaluations for proposed projects.
  • Manage post-bid technical and commercial clarifications, support negotiations with clients and partners, and assist internal teams through contract finalisation stages.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Business Development Strategy:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Green Hydrogen.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, industries, and the project.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth in alignment with company objectives.
  • Drive sales through targeted plans, market analysis, and deal closures.

2. Tenders Proposal Management:

  • Oversee and manage Tendering processes for Hydrogen projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive proposals, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are addressed.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure alignment with project requirements.

3. Technical Commercial Understanding:

  • Analyse and interpret technical documentation related to Green Hydrogen projects.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure proposals are technically sound.
  • Manage the commercial aspects of project proposals, including pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
  • Understand financial modelling and can also prepare it for different hydrogen business models.
  • Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets, and contribute to the organization s growth and profitability.

4. Project Coordination:

  • Engage with project teams for on-site assessments and monitoring, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • frequently travel to project sites for stakeholder meetings, site visits, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; with MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, preferably in renewable energy, green hydrogen, Oil and Gas, renewable or similar industries.
  • Strong understanding of hydrogen production technologies, project BOQ, and commercial contract terms.
  • Experience in tender management, proposal making, and technical evaluations.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across India.
