Professional Background Experience : 3–5 years in sales coordination, sales operations, or as an executive assistant in a sales-heavy company. Industry exposure : Exposure to interior materials, building products, or B2B sales is ideal but not essential. Education : Bachelor's in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing. MBA is a plus. Tools : Familiarity with CRMs (e.g. Zoho, Salesforce), Excel, and basic project management tools like Asana or Trello. Key Traits Strong interpersonal skills – can bond with your sales team and earn their respect. Organized and proactive – ensures follow-ups, reporting, and internal coordination runs smoothly. Assertive but empathetic – can push for accountability without damaging morale. Detail-oriented – tracks numbers, incentives, leads, and client updates without missing anything. Quick learner – can understand your product range and sales process fast. Key Responsibilities Area will 1. Sales Team Coordination 1. Maintain weekly/monthly calendars and ensure the sales team is aligned on tasks and targets. 2. Set up and follow through on daily/weekly check-ins with the sales team. 3. Keep track of leads, follow-ups, closures, and help identify where support is needed.2. CRM & Data Management 1. Ensure the CRM is updated with all client interactions, site visits, samples shared, etc. 2. Generate and share sales performance reports weekly and monthly. 3.Incentive and Target Tracking 1. Maintain dashboards for targets vs. achievements. 2. Assist in rolling out incentive structures and calculate payouts accurately.4. Training & Onboarding 1. Help onboard new salespeople β€” set up product training, shadowing, and territory familiarization. 2. Maintain a library of product info, client success stories, case studies, and training materials5. Customer Coordination (Back-End Support) 1. Ensure timely generation of quotes, sample dispatches, follow-up calls, etc 2.Act as a liaison between the sales team and back-office (including logistics & accounts).6. Escalation Handling Performance Metrics (KPIs) First responder to internal team conflicts, delays, or complaints β€” escalate only when necessary. Track customer complaints related to the sales process and ensure closure.
