An Event Sales Executive/Manager for large corporate events is responsible for generating revenue by selling event solutions to businesses. This role involves identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals for conferences, trade shows, seminars, product launches, and corporate gatherings. Role & responsibilities Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and target corporations, associations, and high-value clients needing event solutions. Develop a strong pipeline of leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research. Build partnerships with vendors, venues, and sponsors. Client Consultation & Sales Presentations: Engage with decision-makers (CXOs, marketing heads, event managers) to understand their event objectives. Conduct compelling presentations and proposals, showcasing event solutions. Offer customized packages, including venue selection, technology solutions, digital engagement, and hybrid event options Negotiation & Deal Closure: Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize revenue. Handle objections and work closely with internal teams to create tailor-made event packages. Secure long-term partnerships and repeat business. Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with event operations, marketing, and production teams to ensure smooth event execution. Provide clear client expectations and oversee event timelines. Market Analysis & Reporting: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in corporate events. Prepare sales forecasts, revenue reports, and performance metrics. Preferred candidate profile Strong B2B sales and consultative selling experience. Ability to engage C-level executives and decision-makers. Knowledge of event technology, hybrid/virtual event platforms, and audience engagement tools. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Experience in handling large-scale corporate events, sponsorship sales, or event marketing is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and event management software. Ideal Candidate Profile 6-10 years of sales experience in event management, corporate sales, or hospitality. Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-pressure, revenue-driven environment. Ability to manage multiple accounts and complex sales cycles. Should be able to deal with CEO, CFO, IR Head, Company Secretary, CIO Will have to sell Event Management, Virtual & Physical AGMs, Hybrid Events, Green Screen Events, R&R, Exhibition Booths, etc.
