Event Manager

Position: Event Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and creative Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute events for our NGOs, media, and social media platforms. The ideal candidate will manage the entire event lifecycle — from concept and planning to execution and post-event evaluation — ensuring impactful experiences that align with our organizational goals. --- Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute events (online & offline) for NGOs, media, and social media platforms. Develop event concepts, themes, and schedules in line with organizational objectives. Handle budgeting, vendor selection, negotiations, and logistics. Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, social media, PR, content) to maximize event reach. Manage guest lists, invitations, registrations, and on-site execution. Liaise with sponsors, partners, and media for event coverage and promotions. Ensure legal permissions, compliance, and safety protocols are followed. Oversee event branding, promotional materials, and content creation. Prepare post-event reports, analyze feedback, and implement improvements. --- Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in event planning/management (corporate, NGO, media, or social campaigns preferred). Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities. Knowledge of digital promotions, social media event marketing, and influencer tie-ups. Ability to handle budgets and vendor management effectively. Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to travel and manage events on-site. --- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.
