Event Management Specialist

As a Community Manager at ELEVATE, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the student living experience by spearheading engaging community initiatives and vibrant events on campuses. You will have the opportunity to foster strong student connections, ensure seamless event management, and uphold a high standard of community engagement. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting and executing dynamic monthly community calendars that cater to student interests, overseeing the entire event lifecycle from planning to closure, and ensuring full compliance with internal SOPs and safety regulations. Monitoring key performance metrics such as event turnout, CSAT scores, and budget allocation will be crucial in enhancing the effectiveness of your initiatives. Additionally, you will be instrumental in nurturing team engagement through motivational activities and growth opportunities, managing vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery, and maximizing post-event visibility through various communication channels like social media and newsletters. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field, coupled with at least 2 years of experience in community engagement, event management, or student-facing positions. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a creative outlook and a genuine passion for fostering student engagement. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends to accommodate event schedules, is expected.
