Job Overview

:We are seeking a driven and persuasive Business Development Executive to grow our corporate event business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities with corporate clients, building long-term relationships, and negotiating competitive rates with hotels and venues to execute events seamlessly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

:

Corporate Business Development

Identify and target potential corporate clients (MNCs, SMEs, startups, etc.) for event management services.Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR/Marketing/Admin teams to understand event needs.Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client objectives.Generate leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, cold calling, and industry events.Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools; maintain accurate records of meetings, follow-ups, and closures.

Hotel & Venue Negotiations

Identify suitable hotels/venues based on event requirements and budgets.Build and maintain relationships with hotel sales teams and banquet managers.Negotiate and finalize competitive pricing for stays, banquet halls, conference facilities, and other event needs.Ensure favorable terms on cancellation policies, complimentary inclusions, and service add-ons.

Coordination & Support

Work closely with the internal event planning team to relay client requirements and timelines.Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations for flawless event execution.Provide support during large-scale or high-value events when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.Proven track record in B2B business development, preferably in events, hospitality, or travel.Excellent negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written).Strong networking abilities and professional presence.Good understanding of event planning, venue selection, and hospitality services.Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and digital proposal tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Number and value of corporate accounts acquired.Number of successful rate negotiations with hotels/venues.Repeat business and client satisfaction ratings.Conversion rate from lead to deal.
