Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Intern with prior experience in event stall bookings and established relationships with event organizers. This commission-based role is ideal for individuals who have a strong network in the events industry and are looking to expand their experience in business development within a dynamic platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard Event Organizers:
  • Leverage existing relationships with event organizers to onboard them to the Stall24x7 platform.
  • Introduce event organizers to Stall24x7’s services, helping them create event profiles and manage bookings.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to ensure organizers have a smooth experience on the platform.
  • Secure Stall Bookings:
  • Use your industry connections to secure stall bookings from vendors and businesses for upcoming events.
  • Identify the right exhibitors for specific events and match them with suitable stall spaces.
  • Manage the negotiation and booking process to ensure timely confirmations.
  • Lead Generation & Relationship Management:
  • Generate new leads by tapping into existing industry relationships and personal networks.
  • Follow up with leads and maintain communication to ensure a high conversion rate from interest to booking.
  • Sales & Negotiation Support:
  • Assist in preparing tailored proposals and contract negotiations between event organizers and exhibitors.
  • Work closely with the sales team to close deals and manage bookings effectively.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and bookings.
  • Provide regular progress updates to management, including key metrics and any potential opportunities or challenges.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in event stall bookings or sales in the events/exhibitions industry.
  • Established relationships with event organizers, exhibitors, and vendors.
  • A strong network within the events or exhibition industry is essential.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to close deals and manage client expectations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting sales targets.
  • Education:
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Personality Traits:
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable with a commission-based role and target-driven outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Internship, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance, Volunteer
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: ₹11,831.42 - ₹36,311.00 per month
