Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of events, from concept to completion. Work with clients to understand event objectives and requirements. Create event timelines, budgets, and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule. Vendor Management: Source and liaise with event vendors (e.g., caterers, AV technicians, decorators, etc.). Negotiate contracts, manage payments, and ensure all vendor services meet event standards. On-Site Event Management: Oversee event setup, coordination, and smooth execution. Supervise event staff and volunteers to ensure operations run efficiently. Handle any issues or last-minute changes that may arise during events. Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after the event. Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction. Marketing & Promotion: Assist in promoting events on social media platforms and other marketing channels. Help develop event materials, including invitations, signage, and promotional content. Post-Event Evaluation: Collect feedback from clients and attendees to evaluate the success of each event. Prepare post-event reports and provide insights for future improvements. Skills & Qualifications:Experience: 2+ years of experience in event planning or related field (corporate events, conferences, weddings, etc.). Experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts. Skills: Strong project management skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, etc.). Knowledge of event marketing and promotion strategies is a plus. Education: A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related fields is preferred. Personal Attributes: Creative, proactive, and solution-oriented.
