Job Title: ETL Tester Experience: 4-5 years We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented ETL Tester with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in validating data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, and will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and quality across various system. Key responsibilities: -Review and understand ETL requirements and source-to-target mappings. -Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts for ETL processes. -Validate data accuracy, transformations, and data flow between source and target systems. -Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and back-end/database testing using SQL. -Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or HP ALM. -Work closely with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to resolve issues. -Automate testing processes where applicable using scripting or ETL testing tools Required Skills: -4–5 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing. Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries and performing data validation. -Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend). -Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts and Data Migration projects. -Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail). -Knowledge of automation frameworks or scripting for ETL test automation is a plus. -Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology. Preferred Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. -Experience in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. -Exposure to reporting and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.
