Estimation Engineer

Job Description

1. Doing Rate analysis of different items in the BOQ, prepare a comparison with the DSR Rates, preparing the overheads of the project. Preparing the financial bid. Submitting all the documents to the top management atleast before three days from the tender submission date ? 2. Analysing and submitting rates for EXTRA ITEMS that may arise during the course of work & also checking when asked the economic viability of certain BOQ item execution considering actual labour data and material consumption are on time ? 3. Doing Estimation of quantities, preparation of BOQ, Deriving rates etc. for new works in which only measurements or drawings are given on time ? 4. Doing Site visit, attending pre bid meetings, identifying the pros and cons of the projects on time ? 5. Presenting the rates before GM, Top management to discuss and make necessary changes in the final rates. Make aware the top management of the opportunity as well as the risks associated with the project and make an informed decision before tender submission is found ok ? 6. If instructed from Top management, conducting periodical checking in coordination with the billing department of the material reconciliation reports, labour data from site and material rates from purchase, Assessing loss and profit whenever asked is found ok ?
