Estimation Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for Estimation Engineer with 3 years of experience. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estimation preferably in the precast concrete industry. Understanding of precast manufacturing processes. Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications, ability to identify critical aspects. Strong skills in quantity take-off, cost analysis, and pricing. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MS Excel, PDF, MS Word software. Fairly proficient in written and oral communication in English. Key Responsibilities: Study and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications to identify critical aspects of precast concrete elements. Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, production time, and overheads in a timely and professional manner. Verify quantities and conduct material take-offs from architectural and structural drawings. Coordinate with customer, production team, procurement dept. to gather all necessary data for estimation. Analyze project specifications to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities affecting production cost or timelines. Maintain and update cost databases, supplier pricing, and historical project records.
